40 Years

Play Ball!  Games began April 14

Kingswood Baseball began in 1971 with the first game played at Kingswood Park.  Over the last 40 years, Kingswood Baseball has grown to over 1300 players, 11 fields, and over 2400 games played in 2010.  Watch for more details as we celebrate this milestone with several events throughout the year.

New for 2012

Tee Ball - In 2012, Kingswood is excited to offer a new Tee Ball program for 3 and 4 year olds.  We believe this to be the best Tee Ball program in town.  All games played at Zorinsky's complex, Field #5, which was completely remodeled in 2009.  Come learn the game of baseball while playing for your favorite Major League Baseball Team (shirt, pants, hat).  (Volunteer to coach your childs team and select your favorite team.)  League will provide each team balls, bats, and a hitting tee.  Rules for this age group can be found by CLICKING HERE.

Tee Ball UPDATE - Due to fantastic weather and parent feedback at Rally Day, the Tee Ball season will be starting games as early as May 1.  Watch for updates from your coach.

New Volunteer Program / Opt out Option - Kingswood Baseball is implementing a volunteer program where you can help improve Kingswood baseball for your child.  Details will outline during the registration process or can be read by CLICKING HERE.  To sign up for your volunteer hours, CLICK HERE.


2012 City of Omaha Ball Field Tax Fees

$15 will be added to all registration costs because of the new 2012 City Of Omaha's tax on all city ball fields - all leagues using city fields are assessed this fee.  This collected fee is sent directly to the City of Omaha.  We are unable to break out a separate line item for this tax, so on the final invoice it will be included in the registration cost.

2012 Rules - Kingswood Rules for ages 5-10 will follow 2011 rules with very minor changes.  2011 rules can be accessed by CLICKING HERE.  Rules for ages 11 and above follow USSSA rules.
